My beautiful studio in the hills above the Valley of the Moon is a perfect oasis that never fails to relax my clients. Having ones photo taken is a stressful experience for most people, but a peaceful environment really helps achieve great results. I like to do everything I can to help my clients relax. I take extra time before the session to select the right colors and outfits. During the shoot itself I make sure my clients feel content and mildly entertained so that I can connect with the joy reflected in their eyes.

Clients who have hired me for their wedding photos and other family events all tell me the same thing: After the posed shots are done, they totally forget that I’m still around because I am not intrusive. By staying quiet and unobtrusive, I am able to capture all those precious moments that are not posed, and my clients love it.

With a lifelong affinity for animals I really enjoy holding periodic Pet Portrait Days at different stores in the Santa Rosa area. Keep checking the Mobile Studio section of my Home page for an upcoming schedule! But when it comes to photographing animals, underwater photography has been my heart’s passion since 1994. Make sure you check the animal category in the galleries of my website for underwater shots of dolphins and whales of the Pacific Ocean and beyond. These gorgeous creatures speak to me about our responsibility towards them and all of nature.

In addition to my photography business I am the Administrator for the Kenwood Wildlife Center, taking every opportunity to speak to both adults and school children about birds, mammals and what each of us can do to preserve the wildlife around us. What they are learning now about conserving nature will make a difference in the world they leave for their children’s children.
